Magic in the Night — by Robin Meloy Goldsby

“Magic in the Night” conjured the images of my first sight of fireflies. I ran around my Grandma’s house trying to find ‘Tinkerbell.’  Music, like mirrors and magic, is strictly up to the listener’s interpretation.”

Robin Meloy Goldsby

“Magic in the Night” is featured on an NPR Jazz Christmas with Marian McPartland And Friends, Vol. 3. The song was originally composed for a children’s musical, “Hobo und die Waldfeen.” Robin’s most well-known version of the piece can be heard on the album, Songs from the Castle.
